This is an opportunity to establish a major research programme in environmental and molecular epidemiology combining research on large population cohorts with availability of leading research resources in the field of omics including a renowned metabonomic group as part of the Centrefor Environment and Health at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington. The. successful candidate will have an international reputation in the field of environmental, molecular or genetic epidemiology, as evidenced by successful research grant applications, a substantial independent programme of research, and a track record of publications in high quality peer reviewed journals. A PhD in epidemiology, environmental or molecular sciences, genetics, public health or another relevant discipline applied in an epidemiological setting or equivalent research experience is esse.
