An interesting role has come up in a good school in Ealing. This above average sized school has two thirds of its pupils with English as an additional language and serves a community with significant levels of deprivation. Behaviour of pupils at the school is excellent, as is the care and guidance given to them.
They require a qualified teacher to teach Music across Key Stages 1 and 2 and hold a singing assembly. The role is for one day a week with scope for expansion. Good behaviour management and experience teaching music within the UK curriculum are essential. Ability to teach the Recorder would be an advantage but not a requirement.
This is a permanent position starting in September
You must:
- Be committed to excellence.
- Be enthusiastic about your subject.
- Encourage students to excel.
To apply you will:
- Be a qualified teacher (ideally PGCE, GTP, B:ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS)
- Be able to teach through all the key stages would be advantageous.
- Have UK teaching experience.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
- Be resident in the UK now.
- Hold a current CRB disclosure.
