My client, a leading gaming company, is looking for a well rounded Web Designer / Developer to join their expanding web development team. Your primary responsibilities will be developing new exciting elements of a fast moving web property, taking visual designs from concept to reality and helping with the day to day upkeep of the website. My client is looking for a social, hard-working person who enjoys working in a team with other people and is passionate and dedicated about his/her work. The ideal candidate will be strongly skilled in XHTML, CSS, photoshop / fireworks and other design skills, the ability to turn your hand to any project; your work is likely to be very varied and knowledge of user experience and information architecture best practices. Previous experience in web-development is essential and examples of work should be included with CVs/resumes and will be examined - you may also be asked to complete a small test to assess your abilities. The following skills are desirable but not essential, passionate about computer games, experience with javascript programming, Adobe Flash and Illustrator experience a plus and experience of PHP and Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
