Marketing Executive
Position: CRM Executive
Location: Central London, Waterloo, London (nearest tube station Waterloo and Lambeth North)
Salary: $24-26K Depending on Experience plus a Flexible Benefit Package including 25 days holiday.
Duration: Initially a 6 month contract but could lead to a permeant position.

CLIENT:
Our client provides services for restaurant reservation management and special offer marketing.

Restaurants use our client to receive and promote their brand and special offers using a range of online distribution channels. The result is real-time reservations, more guests, better customer knowledge and an extensive customer database. The primary channels are the restaurants own website using our clients Direct e-mail marketing services and our clients Network.

ROLE:
The CRM Executive's primary role is to deliver and co-ordinate a wide range of direct marketing programs throughout Europe in all of their markets. The primary audience is their restaurant customers, both existing customers (objective: retention and development) and new customers (objective: acquisition). This audience will be segmented and communications will need to be delivered and tracked in an efficient and effective manner.

The majority of the activity will be email-based, although this will also be supported by postal direct mail from time to time. Much of the CRM strategy will already be defined, although any input from experience will be welcomed. This role is primarily to focus on making it happen.

Local teams will need to provide linguistic support and the CRM Executive will lead and co-ordinate the regular delivery of campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Create email newsletters for our restaurant customers on a regular basis.
b) Work with local country teams to create local language versions of the newsletters.
c) Analyse results from email programs and use data gathered to improve key metrics (deliverability, open rate, click through rate).
d) Work with the marketing team to develop and deliver targeted direct marketing campaigns.
e) Develop and deliver new ways of collecting customer and leads data for use in direct marketing activities, including investigating sources for purchasing/acquiring quality leads data.
f) Coordinate segmentation of customer data for use in all on- and off-line marketing activities.
g) Investigate capabilities of our existing CRM database - Salesforce.com - for sales and marketing purposes and implement improvements where possible.
h) Coordinate data cleansing and inputting of sales leads data.
i) Work with Restaurant Liaison, Content Management and Sales Teams to improve the quality and relevance of accounts and leads data in our CRM system.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Previous experience in a similar role.
b) Have great copywriting skills, with a flair for writing for the web.
c) Have had success in creating and producing email marketing campaigns.
d) Be data-driven with a strong capability for analysing customer data and campaign data.
e) Enjoy being more "hands-on" than being highly strategic.
f) Have solid experience in communications and tactical campaign promotions (especially online and international).
g) Demonstrate a knack for getting things done in an entrepreneurial fashion.
h) Display the experience and confidence to work with minimal supervision.
i) Have a good balance between analytical and creative talent.
j) Be able to build rapport and work in cross-functional teams.
k) Have a passion for innovation and a curiosity for technology, ideally with experience in an e-commerce environment.
l) Have knowledge of working with different European cultures.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Fluency in one or more European languages is a distinct advantage (German, in particular).
