IT And Telephony Support Engineer

IT and Telephony Support Engineer

We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and dynamic individual who will provide the highest level of customer service to our valuable customers. The applicant must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and to assist the IT and Telephony Support departments in all aspects of IT applications support, both internally via the help desk and at the customer site.

The ideal applicant will meet the following criteria:

Minimum of 12 months relevant 1st/2nd tier IT support experience in a Windows based networked environment.
Demonstrate a high level of competence in dealing with MS Windows Server and Desktop operating systems and MS Office applications.
Confident in troubleshooting Server, PC, Network hardware and peripheral equipment issues.
Exposure to Active Directory, MS Exchange, Linux, VLAN, VPN, Firewalls, ADSL modems / routers, Citrix and MPLS
Experience with Avaya communications products an added advantage
Avaya ACA Qualification preferred

The successful applicant will also be required to install and maintain Windows and Linux based telephony applications on customer sites for which full training will be provided.

Excellent customer facing and communication skills are essential

Applicant must have a clean, valid driving license.
