Working as part of the technical helpdesk team, The RITM 2nd Line Support Engineer provides technical support to a wide range of customers, using the tools available to provide speedy resolutions to problems.
You will be responsible for:
· Being the 2nd line of support to customers
· Immediately dealing with technical issues
· Proactively, investigating, diagnosing and resolving issues and problems, whilst keeping the customer informed and aware of potential and achieved resolutions. Escalating problems when relevant.
· Coaching level 1 engineers to ensure knowledge and skills transfer.
Experience / Education Required:
· At least 3 years experience in a system support/ administration role
· MCSE in Windows NT, 2000, 2003, 2008 server or relevant experience
· Good working knowledge of MS exchange
· Excellent working knowledge of networking and routing
· Ability to analyse problems, its consequences and solution.
