Purchase Ledger Assistant
Purchase Ledger Assistant
Central London
$18,000 - $22,000

As a leading provider of domain names and Internet-related services, our client has registered hundreds of thousands of domain names and hosts thousands of websites. With a wide range of services, their clients come from many industries and include over 30% of the FTSE 100. Due to their current success, they are now looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team.

This position has an immediate start and as such, our client invites applications from candidates looking for a temp-to-perm or permanent role.

As a Purchase Ledger Assistant you will be responsible for a range of purchase ledger, purchase order, cashbook and expense claims duties. You will also assist the Accounts team with audit requests. Your day to day duties will include:

- coding, batching and entering invoices onto Access accounts
- sending invoices out for authorisation
- preparing payment runs
- posting payments and matching against invoices
- ensuring credit card payments are reconciled and posted

As the business deals with domain names registered around the world, it is imperative that payments are made on time; and as the only person dealing with these duties, it is essential that you are able to stay on top of high volumes of low value transactions and deal with the relevant paperwork and emails.

To succeed as the Purchase Ledger Assistant you must have significant previous purchase ledger experience. This must include experience of reconciliation and operating in an international, multi-currency environment. Experience of using Access Accounts would be beneficial to your application.

Additionally, you must also possess excellent written and oral communication skills, an accurate way of working and strong Excel skills.

To apply for the role of Purchase Ledger Assistant, please simply send your CV and a covering letter via the button shown. If your skills and experience meet with any of our client's requirements and/or needs, we will provide our clients with your full details so that they can consider whether you may be suitable for the vacancy advertised. Your details, as submitted by you, will only be used in conjunction with this vacancy. By submitting your CV and cover letter to us, you give express consent to us using your details for this purpose.
