We are looking for a Graphic Designer on a part-time, interim basis to creatively design, layout and develop marketing communications collateral from print to new media as a member of the MHP Communications Team reporting to the Head of Communications.
The ideal candidate must have A high degree of creative skill and ability to be demonstrated by portfolio. Excellent knowledge and practical experience of InDesign, Quark, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Flash this will be assessed at interview. Good knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office and also be Mac and PC literate. Ability to work as a member of a team and to take direction. Excellent verbal and visual communication skills. Demonstrable evidence of working in a busy design agency or marketing communications department. Good standard of written English. Ability to plan and manage workload with minimum supervision. Ability to juggle several projects at the same time and a strong working knowledge of modern print processes and an eye for detail
It is desirable for the candidate to have Awareness of new design innovations, packages and styles and experience working in a busy design environment.
