Enterprise Systems Architecture Manager |
|
Purpose : To manage a team (which is a combination of dedicated and virtual ) who are responsible for the governance of the information & IT strategy and supporting the architectural blueprint in response to the emerging and ongoing Group and individual divisional strategies, as well as emerging IT trends
Accountabilities :
In conjunction with HR, support the recruitment, training and development of new team members.
To conduct team performance reviews, highlighting, escalating and training, development or performance issues.
To provide effective leadership and line management to the Information Systems Strategy & Architecture team.
To produce and maintain the Enterprise Information & IT architectural blueprint and roadmap that specifies the long-term vision for the company's applications, data and infrastructure architectures and outlines the broad series of changes that will be required to implement them over a 3-5 year horizon.
To engage with the Strategic Business Partners and Operational Strategy Manager to ensure close alignment of the architecture with the business Target Operating Models (TOMs)
To manage the architecture governance process to ensure that all solutions comply with strategic direction and architectural fit.
To ensure the full potential of information and IT is factored into business strategy thinking.
To be an active member of the GO Strategy & Architecture informal network, as well as networking and influencing extensively across GO and the wider Group.
IT strategy delivery.
IT Architecture definition.
Application and technology roadmap definition and stewardship.
External market analysis.
IT Programme/project review.
To provide standards definition (Architecture & Data).
Communication to key stakeholders.
To represent the company on driving market initiatives forwards (Lloyds, Acord, etc)
Responsible for managing the execution of the IT benchmarking.
Communicating the Information Systems strategic vision to the rest of the Group
Working closely with the model office team to drive technology and process research and development activities.
FULL SPEC ON APPLICATION
Experience required:
Broad working knowledge of the Financial Services industry, Lloyd's underwriting or commercial general insurance.
