Client Side Web Development Manager, UI, IA. Our client is a leading media organisation - a household name and one of the best companies to work for in the sector offering the best in working environments, technology and really strong staff retention. This is a new role for an inspirational and visionary client side web development manager to direct the client-side development strategy for the company and manage the web development team. This is a broad and varied role with responsibilities to include; recruitment, managing standards and working practises (inc Agile), troubleshooting, developer support / coaching etc etc. We are looking for an experienced web development manager with an outstanding "presence" within the industry and a good background in technologies to inclue HTML, XHTML, CSS, templating, Flash, Javascript etc etc. Candidates must also have significant experience in coaching, managing and recruiting web developers for a large web-centric organisation and good all round knowledge of web standards and accessibility issues.
