My client is an industry leader within the Financial Services sector. They are extremely stable and very profitable and they are currently seeking Product Support/Commercial Analysts to join their organisation and grow the business even further into 2009!! Expand your prospects, and your pockets with this role.
Supporting the product development and business management areas of the organisation, you will assist them in all aspects of managing product portfolios with emphasis on growing the size and profitability of the portfolios whilst maintaining strong working relationships with all areas of the business (Underwriting, Marketing, Operations and Insurance Analysis). This is a very varied role and will see you become involved in elements of marketing, product management, analysis of Profit and Loss, and also product strategy. You will also work closely with project managers to make sure there is a smooth path for new products entering the market.
Ideally you will be educated to degree level although this is not essential. Also candidates with knowledge of the Insurance (motor, travel etc) or Financial services sectors would be preferred, and if you have experience within a similar role, this would be advantageous, although again, this is not essential. Any Profit & Loss or Underwriting knowledge would be a bonus. However, as the role is a very varied role, my client will also consider candidates from an analytical (strategic or pricing) background, and Marketing based candidates if you have some experience in product support or pricing initiatives.

They will offer the successful candidate a starting salary of c25,000-26,000 plus benefits including pension, life assurance and flexi-holidays, and bonuses are paid on top of the basic salary which can increase your basic by up to 2000pa minimum.
They are based in South East London, and are within walking distance from the nearest railway station. They are very commutable from Dulwich, Penge East, Elephant & Castle, Dartford, Kent, Essex and also 25 minutes from London Victoria.
