Our client is a leading, award winning investment company based in the city of London. They now have a requirement for a Financial Accountant to join the Finance team.
The Role
The Finance team provide control and support to the business and fulfil both the internal and external financial reporting functions. Finance is firmly considered part on the business at this company and not a business support function.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Preparation of the monthly statutory accounts, formatting the balance sheet and the profit and loss reports.Assist in the preparation of the year end statutory accounts, including primary financial statements and detailed note disclosures as delegated.Assist in the implementation of change initiatives undertaken within the financial reporting team as these arise.Assist in the analysis and implementation of accounting policy changes for IFRS reporting.Assist in the analysis and preparation of non routine US GAAP conversion procedures as directed by the Head of Financial Reporting. Perform any other ad-hoc assignments or initiatives as required by the Head of Financial Reporting You will be a qualified accountant with between 0 - 2 pqe (preferably ACA) with strong A-levels and a good degree.You will have Financial Services experience either from practice or industry.This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the leading financial services companies in the UK.
